Buying a home in 6 steps
Most will be need to borrow money to make a home purchase. Obtaining financing can be intimidating but it does not have to be! Make sure you are working with someone who will explain the pros and cons of all your options and educate you so you are comfortable with the terms of your loan.
SEARCH FOR A HOME
The fun begins! We’ll first listen to you so we have a solid understanding of the type of house you want to make your home and/or investment property. Then the search is on! You can actually start at anytime by searching for homes in our database. We will alert you with any properties that fit your style!
MAKE AN OFFER
Find your next home! This is such an exciting milestone! We’ll work with the property owners and/or their agent to submit an offer! A common question we get is “how much should I offer?” That question can only be answered when we know the market conditions. A couple things we will look at as we consider this question is how many days that home has been on the market and for how much similar homes in the area have sold.
CLOSE ON YOUR HOME
Congratulations! This means you’re offer has been accepted, appraisal and title work have been completed ! Now we can move forward with closing on the home. You’ll sign a lot of documents, but don’t worry, we’re still with you and can answer any questions you might have. You’re almost there!
MOVE INTO YOUR HOME
The day is here! It’s time to celebrate! You’ll get your keys and you can move into your house . . . because it’s officially yours! Now we can transform it into the home of your dreams.
