Winter Party Ideas – Ice candles make it just a little bit fancy
We threw a small New Year’s party and many of the ideas would work for any winter themed party so I thought I would share them. My favorite part is the ice candles. They make a winter party just a little fancy & I like just a little fancy so it works out.Just fill up a balloon, place filled balloons on a plastic tarp, wait 12-14 hours depending on how cold it is and then take the balloon off and stab a hole in the top of the ice. Make sure you don’t wait too long or the ice will be frozen solid and the candle will not work. The ice layer on the top of the balloon will reveal a hole in the middle where you can place a candle (we used flame less tea lights from Target).
A few other easy ideas – I love to find snowflake decorations after Christmas – super great deals and I love to celebrate winter!
I love this idea! i will definitely try it next winter (or maybe tomorrow!)
I am hoping for some 80 degree weather soon! Keep watching for a patio project! I will be posting it soon – have a great day and try to stay warm:)
